You will collaborate with teams from across departments to effectively place spares in Google’s global data centers in this position.

 

You will be in charge of finding holes in processes, creating tools and processes that are sustainable, getting insights from data, making spare parts available for our data centers, and keeping our infrastructure up and running. To scale the global positioning of spares, you will collaborate with partners from engineering, supply chain operations, global commodity management, procurement operations, and supplier/integration.

 

Behind all that our clients see online is the engineering worked by the Specialized Foundation group to keep it running. We make Google’s product portfolio possible, from building and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms. The US base compensation range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + reward + value + benefits. Our compensation not entirely settled by job, level, and area. The minimum and maximum target salaries for the position in all US locations are shown in the range on each job posting.

Responsibilities Include developing and putting into action new procedures with a spares lens that are focused on demand planning, supply planning and risk mitigation, and procurement operations.
Drive saves production network preparation across all server farm gear saves parts.

Work together cross-functionally with stakeholders and upstream teams to improve clarity, develop tools (such as dashboards), and communicate status and risks.

Enhance manual exertion and cycles through mechanization and tooling to drive consistency and proficiency in the extras production network.

 

Accomplice intimately with server farm activities, obtainment tasks, and bigger hardware store network groups to drive joint effort and arrangement to guarantee spare parts are set up at current and future server farm destinations.
