Global Process Centre Supervisor will be responsible for execution of all trials within Global Process Centre, leadership and management of Frontline employees and acting GPC Operations Support Manager when required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the effective supervision of all front line employees across the Global Process Centre covering the Wet Process Hall, Dry Process Hall and Kitchen areas.
Primary contact point for GPC development partners, principally R&D Function teams both on and off site, to ensure trials are planned and executed effectively to include resource allocation and facilitating weekly planning meetings
Ownership for the Process Gallery planning tool including functionality updates, equipment updates and training
Ensuring Front Line Employees have been trained to perform the required tasks to agreed standards
Be the lead for EHS within the GPC to include facilitating a Safety Action Team and ownership of the MyEHS action list
Responsible for issuing Permit to Works when required to the right standard in support of the site GEHSMS standards for contractor management
Responsible for GEHSMS element Spill prevention and Response
Ensuring compliance to Safe Working Practices and Standard Operating Procedures for front line employees
Ensuring equipment and the working environment in the Global Process Control is safe and effectively organised
Lead trials in the GPC, use insights to aid decision making by Project teams, to identify key issues and optimise trial performance
Supervision of front line teams minute to minute to ensure successful execution of all trials.
Providing operational experience supporting the introduction of new equipment to include the development of Standard Operating Procedures and training material

Qualifications

Experience of leading a small team of front line employees
Understanding of good manufacturing practices
Understanding of lean processes such as 5S
EHS qualification such as IOSH desirable or good understanding of safety systems and requirements e.g. PUWER
Experience of food safety, and good hygiene practices. HACCP level 3 desirable.
Good planning and organisational skills
Ability to interface effectively with GPC customers up to board level.
Must be practical, hands-on, flexible, self-motivated, able to set-up, operate and make minor engineering adjustments to equipment and maintenance tasks
Effective communicator verbally and written
Analytical skills to drive improvement in trial activities
Values different perspectives and experiences and establishes trust and mutual respect when working with other people regardless of professional or cultural background.
Fosters a positive, inclusive work environment where people feel respected and valued for their contributions
