Responsibilities:
The key responsibility for this role is to provide support to the Senior Operations team, aiding them with critical tasks and activities, enabling high quality inputs and results, supporting the wider business operationally.
You will assist the senior management team with the coordination and administration of various activities which include but aren’t limited to: coordination and organisation of meetings, diary management, purchase order raising, uniform administration, note taking, participation in business operational improvement activities including, general operational administration including supporting training coordination and acting as the point of contact for all operational customer complaints.
The Operations Support Assistant will also be responsible for supporting the various operational teams with minute taking, meeting organising, KPI reporting, whilst being wholly responsible for the management of union meeting minutes.
You will act as the GDPR champion for the Operations department, whilst working across several different databases supporting the operational teams.
The Operations Support Assistant will be required to familiarise themselves with the front-line teams, occasionally working in locations across the London Overground network, out of HQ.
You will be working as a key support for the Operations department, and may therefore be directed to complete other ad hoc tasks, by the Operational Leadership team.

Qualifications:
You will need to have proven experience working within an administrative position, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with proven experience in minute taking and another administrative tasks.
Experience working within the railway would be beneficial but not essential, as well as any knowledge of the London Overground and any experience of working with HR and non-HR company policies and processes.
Strong IT literacy including Excel and Word is essential for this role, as well as excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
