Inspect, review, improve and develop technical solutions across complex Flexible Pipe Systems.
 

As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Work in accordance with, identify and promote prevailing Industry Standards and accepted offshore installation practices.

Pro-active, positive, professional and collaborative approach to work, within the group, suppliers, subcontractors and client.

Ensures that any equipment and all relevant systems are in complete working order and in compliance all technical requirements.

Work in accordance with the company’s preventative and planned maintenance and certification programs.

During all maintenance, repair and operational activities, communicate the equipment status to the relevant parties and provide logistical and documentary evidence in support of this.

Ensuring all equipment, stores and workshops, used by the group, are in a satisfactory condition necessary to carry out the operations efficiently and safely. Keep the workplace clean and tidy.

Participate in Toolbox Talks and pre job safety meetings. Attend HSE meetings as required.

Work and operate the equipment in accordance with the standard operating procedures.

Responsible for striving to continuously improve systems and personal/team performance.

Prepare technical reports relating to the work performed.

Preparation of travel documentation.

Assists in the training and development of others within the group.

Act as BH representative on projects/tasks at offsite locations, on and offshore as required.

Work in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.

Be aware of contractual aspects of a project/task.

To be successful in this role you will:

Strong interpersonal and communications skills, written and verbal, with multi-disciplinary environment.

Must be able to read and interpret instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in a variety of formats e.g., written, oral, diagram.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Candidate should have experience of working in an offshore environment involving flexible pipe and subsea construction activities.

Candidates should understand operations required to move heavy equipment on and offshore.

Offshore working and international travel will be required.

Possession of valid Offshore Survival Certification (including Firefighting/HUET/Lifeboat exercises).

Possession of valid Offshore Workers Medical.
