Your team

Joining the Employee Relations team as an Employee Relations Specialist, you will provide HR guidance to key stakeholders across the UK&I division on matters relating to employment relation people issues.

This role will primarily focus on the completion of end-to-end support and case management of investigations, grievance, disciplinary and other employee relation matters.

This position also supports the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures across the division. Together with the team the successful Employee Relations Specialist will ensure company-wide employee relation programs of work are delivered to the business effectively, efficiently, and successfully.

What you’ll do

Provide specialist and technical ER guidance to the business on all aspects of employee relations, this includes key stakeholders and the wider HR team.

Take responsibility for providing accurate advice and solutions on an independent basis, setting expectations, responding to concerns, and providing support throughout any employee relation processes. Will apply a commercial and pragmatic thought process to available solutions.

Advise people managers and employees regarding a broad range of complex employee relation inquiries on HR policies and processes.

Conduct & lead investigations, grievance or disciplinary hearings into employee or manager complaints that are reported across the three brands within the division in a timely manner remotely and face to face.

Ensure the company is legally compliant in all ER related process and matters, while considering employee experience and balancing appropriate risk.

Support senior members of the team with claims, involuntary terminations, Redundancy, and TUPE cases as and when required.

Attend tribunal hearings if required to support claims for closed cases completed.

Perform employee relations administration activities such as saving files, updating the case management & HR systems with case details, monthly reporting, support with note taking, sending invite etc. focusing on solution delivery.

How you’ll do it

Experienced HR professional with relevant experience and knowledge of

Employment Law in either the UK or Ireland

Notable prior experience in a fast-paced ER role/ department
