The Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Designs Engineer will work collaboratively across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization and provide technical I&E engineering expertise to improve the safety and performance of I&E equipment in the area. The position will support a process area and be responsible for the instrument and electrical designs, execute small to medium level I&E projects in the area, make recommendations for design improvements, act as I&E technical support for the area and the I&E maintenance shop, provide process and I&E troubleshooting support, and be involved in TAR (turnaround) I&E scope/input/project execution.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Make formal recommendations for equipment repairs/replacements/improvements

Provide Engineering support and technical guidance for I&E maintenance problems

Provide input to I&E related Management of Changes (MOC)

Drive assigned Reliability Resolution Tracker items to resolution

Unit Reliability Brief (URB) presentations and participation for I&E related items

Develop Engineering Work Orders/Scope Packages (EWOs) for small to medium I&E projects

Support Facility Integrity and Reliability Management (FIRM) initiatives

Reliability & Integrity Steering Committee (RISC) presentations and participations for I&E related items

Participate in IA and Electrical Business Improvement Network (BIN)

Participate in Oronite Community of Practice (CoP)

Required Qualifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
