ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role sits within the Acquisition team, as part of the wider CX Activation team.

anywhere’>In collaboration with the Head of Acquisition, the role will shape the best-in-class paid media strategy for respective NCs, accounting for platform policies and regulatory limitations, and working with partners and agencies to unlock new opportunities to showcase our brands. It will be pivotal in enabling performance marketing – results driven approach to digital marketing where ENSCO pays only when specific actions or outcomes are achieved across paid channels (e.g. SEM, PPC, advertising, SoMe etc).

The job holder will own the Global Paid Media capability roadmap for all NC brands, ensuring that ENSCO is delivering outstanding engagement through paid media channels, such as Programmatic Display, Video, Social and Search. It will work in close collaboration with other Acquisition channels, and broader Conversion and Retention teams, to ensure a consistent consumer journey is delivered and new leads are moved into the funnel.

It will manage the global Media Agency, leading all aspects of contracts and ensuring value is delivered by the agency, whilst further helping DRBUs and markets to select the right agencies. It will also provide a strong POV on the enablers required to drive paid media, such as technology, data, content, partners, being able to support them across these conversations. It will also own all the sub-capabilities that fall under paid media in the ENSCO Marketing Compass, ensuring these are relevant and updated to reflect maturity levels.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Providing support to the Head of Acquisition in shaping the performance marketing strategy
Being responsible for defining the role of each of the paid media channels within the consumer journey
Being responsible for setting and sharing the ENSCO global Paid Media capability roadmap
Working with dedicated agency to set global best practices and support DRBUs/ end markets with activation
Supporting Acquisition PoCs with Paid Media expertise and ensure activities align with Social Media and SEO to drive results
Supporting Content team with the plan and investment for global brand platforms and partnership opportunities
Presenting performance reports to internal stakeholders (e.g. Categories) and share clear insights, findings and recommendations
Ensuring that insights are integrated in the creative content and campaign planning, development and execution.
Supporting DRBUs in deploying paid media efficiency measures (e.g. brand lift study, store lift study)
Continuously monitoring the market and identify new paid media opportunities.
Acting as a Paid Media subject matter expert, educating DRBUs/ end markets on Paid Media good practices
Running implementation & performance supervising along defined key performance metrics
Defining the best leading practices for PoC activation and support Markets/DRBUs with PoC activations
Collaborating with other teams to ensure that Paid Media strategies and activities are aligned with the broader consumer journey and wider business goals
Adhering to Responsible Marketing Practices, UAP guidelines and platform policies

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Graduate Degree
Strong experience in planning and activating Paid Media campaigns across Programmatic, Social, Search; experience in a media agency would be beneficial
Understanding of how to leverage Paid Media to drive consumer acquisition and conversion
Ability to drive value from Paid Media activities
Experience in driving PoCs and how to incuEnsco e pilots to rapidly learn
Solid commercial background and understanding of key drivers of P&L
Deep industry expertise in Consumer goods, preferably in NC
Hands on experience across DSPs, e.g. Google Ads, SA360, Meta, DV360
Strong understanding of wider acquisition channels – e.g. Social Media, SEO
Analytical skills, ability to interpret and analyse data
Experience developing positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver aligned activations
Self-starter that is able to work independently in project delivery
Resilient, flexible, and confident to work in an agile, dynamic environment
