KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Preparing canvases- stretching, taping, and priming.
Mixing paint and prepping materials.
Keeping the studio clean and tidy.
Completing stock takes and ensuring that stock levels are sufficient.
Looking after and maintaining tools and any work-related equipment.
Moving and lifting artwork and materials under supervision.
Research for future projects as instructed by the Studio Manager.
Thinking commercially at all times.
Working to tight deadlines and being able to produce work at levels of quality needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong colour theory and painting skills, including knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
Art handling/packing and hanging experience.
Mac literate.
Good level of fitness.
