– Prior commercial, DOT, or CDL (or work-related) driving experience is preferred but not required. – As we expand, supervisory positions will become available.
– A minimum of two paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and one unpaid 30-minute meal break – Opportunity for performance incentives and bonuses – Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employment – $22.50 per hour (paid weekly) – 10-hour shifts are typical – Three-day workweek (30 hours) – Expect daytime shift with future potential to work second shift if desired – Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employment
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Deliver packages on time and successfully – Drive safely and perform safety inspections on the company vehicle – Comply with all company policies, road/driving regulations, and local and state laws – Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events or conditions – Maintain pace in a physically demanding job; work in all kinds of weather and on different routes; lift objects up to 50 pounds; use a smart phone for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative tasks like clocking in and out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members. load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle. support the team in daily work requirements, including participating in rescue calls when other team members require assistance with their routes.
– Should be something like 21 years of age
– Should hold a non-temporary, unhindered driver’s permit
– Approved to work in the US
– Should pass a 4-Board Medication Screening (which does exclude pre-business testing for cannabis)
– Should have a spotless engine vehicle report (various infringement can preclude you from the position)
– Should have great English talking, perusing, composing/relational abilities
