Summary of the Position We are looking for an Associate Merchant with a lot of drive to join our Merchandising Team. As a result, the assigned product categories’ business results will be your responsibility. The product portfolio’s performance will be directly managed by you, and some of your responsibilities will include improving customer experiences and driving up sales and margins. You will collaborate closely with our merchandisers to use a variety of strategies, such as online promotion events, content marketing, sales forecasting, and market analysis, to maximize the margins and net profit of assigned products. You will also participate in the development of new products in the future and discover the assortment’s shortcomings and gaps.

What does this position entail?

Essential Functions:

In order to improve overall sales performance, proactive collaborate with merchandisers to create and coordinate online promotion events, including pricing and content.
On all product launch events, item specifications, and ongoing follow-up, collaborate closely with the marketing team and other departments.
Prepare reports on performance measurement and competitive analysis for various categories.
Keep up with e-commerce trends and bring the team new ideas.
Create category presentations with recommendations that can be implemented, such as: – Integrating customer and consumer research, market and industry trends, competitive review and promotion analysis, and pricing analysis are all part of the process.

What characteristics do we want in a candidate?

 

Requirements for Education and Experience:

Usually necessitates a minimum of three to five years’ work experience as an Assistant Buyer, Associate Merchant, or Associate Merchant in the apparel, furniture, or e-commerce industries.
Highly recommended is a bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirement Must be process-oriented, able to think strategically and tactically, and have a strong attention to detail. Mandarin language proficiency is not required.

Serious Compensation – The U.S. base yearly compensation range for this full-time position ultimately depends on $64,480. Role, level, and location all play a role in determining salary ranges. Workplace location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training, influence individual pay. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide additional information regarding the specific salary range for your preferred location. Full-time employment means consistently working more than 30 hours per week.)
