Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve complex network and IT issues. Act as a point of escalation for unresolved problems and coordinate with vendors or external resources as needed.
Security Management: Develop and implement security protocols and measures to protect the organization’s network and data from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and breaches. Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies to proactively address vulnerabilities.
Network Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Implement strategies to enhance network speed, reliability, and efficiency, ensuring optimal performance for users and applications.
Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and enforce network and IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Educate staff on security protocols and ensure adherence to established guidelines.
Budgeting and Resource Planning: Manage the department’s budget and resources effectively, including equipment purchases, software licenses, and maintenance contracts. Identify cost-saving opportunities and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers for network and IT-related projects and services. Negotiate contracts, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system updates, and troubleshooting procedures. Generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and support activities for management review.
Training and Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to foster continuous learning and innovation within the department.
