Job Responsibilities
Core Accountabilities:
Ensure that company books and records are accurately stated and are in compliance with accounting principles.
Controllership of monthly and year end closing, accounts payable, budgets, reporting, reconciliation, auditing, and store compliance.

Oversee, maintain, and ensure Accuracy of Balance sheet, Income statement and Cashflow.
Oversee third party credit card processing, audits, gift card program, general insurance and depository bank accounts, to ensure accurate receivables and merchant fees.
Provides strong leadership, training and supervision to the Accounting team.
Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
Evaluate, develop, document and enforce procedures and internal controls.
Coordinate execution and management of internal and external A/P audits
Sets strategic direction related to areas of responsibility.
Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality.
Recruit, identify, develop, and retain talent that delivers performance excellence.

Qualifications
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
2+ years of experience in Accounting
2+ years supervisory experience leading an Accounting and payroll team
CPA or CMA, and previous retail industry experience preferred
