Remote – Intervention Specialist Opportunity in Ohio school district K-12 

Are you a passionate, committed Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist eager to make a difference in the online education space? Silent is actively seeking a qualified educator who can effectively deliver engaging, impactful instruction in a virtual environment. Beyond designing curriculum and upholding educational standards, this role is key in fostering student growth and success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students, including those with special learning requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress, providing monthly evaluations and strategic recommendations for curriculum enhancement.
  • Build and maintain open, professional relationships with parents/guardians to ensure clear communication about student progress.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute to individualized educational strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Ohio State License as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist.
  • Experience in a virtual learning environment is preferred but not required.
  • Options available for part-time or full-time work.
  • Candidates must provide their own technology equipment.
