The team

Salesforce continues to be the bedrock of our Asset Management business, driving out Sales, Client Service and Marketing teams. Deeply embedded into business processes, successful in performing a central role capturing digital touchpoints and returning analytics driven insights to the Asset Management business. We are now extending the value of these platforms (Sales, Service and Pardot Clouds) across the Schroders Group including Wealth and Private Assets.

Salesforce is one of the main platforms developed by Client Service and Sales Technology, who support Schroders’ global Client Service and Sales teams. As of April 2024, Client Service and Sales Technology is made up of six distinct teams with a total of more than thirty-five members.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will be at the heart of defining technology solutions across the Client Technology Portfolio. You will apply critical thinking to the problems faced by the business and form the bridge between business stakeholders and software delivery teams, translating business requirements into technical artifacts. In addition, you will foster and facilitate team processes that keep the team focussed, well organised and motivated to continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply a wide variety of business analysis tools and techniques to capture business needs, discover requirements, map out domains and generate solutions.
• Create alignment and ownership between multiple stakeholder groups. Ensure scope is well managed and considers value, feasibility, and implementation constraints.
• Own the discovery phase of multiple new product initiatives that crosscut the needs of multiple Investment teams.
• Ensure the technology team’s backlog is well maintained, appropriately detailed and clearly articulates business value.
• Facilitate ceremonies and ensure the team are following Agile ways of working and best practice.
• Proven experience in leading roles for complex projects or products
• Demonstrable expertise in Salesforce configuration capabilities, including but not limited to Flows, Dynamic Forms, Permission Set Groups, Sharing
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Good understanding of the Salesforce development capabilities, with the ability to discern when to use declarative (clicks) versus programmatic (code) options.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies and best practices, with the ability to apply these in a project management context.
• Salesforce ADM201 certification is a requirement, additional Salesforce certifications would be advantageous.
• Experience with CRM Analytics is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) or similar marketing automation tools is desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
