We are looking for a Test Engineer who is passionate about delivering quality software that is on time and to the highest possible quality for our customers. As a Test Engineer, you will work within our Scrum Teams, to refine work for delivery though a Scaled Agile Framework Methodology. You’ll be continually working with and coaching our teams in delivering test strategies and plans, while also seeking to mentor where needed.
We will be looking for you to champion Quality Assurance standards, processes and tools, ensuring they are used within the Scrum Teams where possible. You will be dedicated to opting for our ‘Automation First’ Test strategy and looking to innovate along the way.
Severn Trent Social Media Manager Jobs – Work From Home
As one of our test engineers you will plan, create, and deliver quality test scenarios, scripts, and execution of scripts to ensure the highest quality outputs meeting our customers’ requirements by using both manual and automated best practices. You’ll also act as servant leader to own and resolve test delivery risks and issues and will continuously keep abreast of changing trends and innovations for Testing and Quality Assurance standards, processes, tooling and frameworks.
Other key accountabilities for the role include:-
Active member of the Scrum Team providing quality engineering & assurance insight, influence, and expertise to the team
Collaborate closely with the Scrum Team for story refinement providing input into estimation (size, cost, value) and acceptance criteria
Writes testing scenarios and scripts in accordance with stories within the project ensuring coverage and quality
Analysis of business requirements / user stories, design specifications and project documentation for multiple small projects and/or releases to identify test cases and design scripts
Estimates and sizes stories / requirements from a testing and quality assurance perspective
Script and execute tests for all test phases within project delivery, System Test, System Integration Test, Integration Test, OAT etc
