Role Summary

Software Engineers collaborate as part of a team for the development of complex systems; including requirements analysis, concept development and design, implementation, and testing, demonstrating flexibility of role as required. They help troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software.

What You Will Do:

Build, Support and Refine solutions for our Security Operations Product team to use for threat/detection/case workflow.
Build, Support and Refine solutions for products used by Security Operations customers.
Analyse and transform varied security data sources for standardisation and further processing, with reference to industry standard frameworks
Take direction from other developers to design and implement product requirements.
Co-ordinate with stakeholders to investigate and understand varied security data sources
Write code (product and test) to deliver against project timeline, quality and requirements
Research, design and prototype new functionality that forms part of a larger solution, in line with team objectives
Learn how to scale solutions and integrate with solutions produced by wider teams to meet wider objectives.

What You Will Bring:

1-2 years of development experience, preferably expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience delivering web UI’s, preferably React/Angular
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with REST APIs
Experience of agile development methodologies preferably Scrum or Kanban
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve and think laterally
Aptitude at independent research, prototyping and design
