As a Skill pool Accountant, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information, including forecasts and budgets for the Offshore Skill pool assigned to you. This role offers valuable experience in Skill pool accounting and the opportunity to develop your skills within a global leader in the Energy industry.

What will you be doing?

Daily support to the Skill pool Lead Planner and Crewing Manager in relation to Skill pool finances.
Preparation of detailed monthly management reports for assigned Skill pools. This will include variance analysis of actuals and forecasts including but not limited to
Variance analysis of actuals and forecasts.
Identify and report variances /areas of concern to budget holder.
Upload and review forecast results into financial consolidation system.
Preparation of annual budget and calculation of white book rates (WBR) for assigned Skill pools.
Monthly reconciliation of offshore travel costs within the Onboard Tracker system, liaising with relevant parties both internal and external to resolve any queries identified.
Validation of assigned 3rd party costs, ensuring all internal processes and procedures have been followed.
Assist the finance team to ensure compliance with the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
Coordination of the quarterly Control Assessment preparation for Offshore Resources.
Other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Educated to degree level in a relevant stream (Finance/Accounting/Business).
Good working knowledge of SAP, Excel and other Microsoft products.
A good team player with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with all levels in the organisation, internal and external.
Enhanced planning, problem-solving and organizational skills and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills, and an ability to work with detail and high degree of accuracy.
